The Royan balustrade is a multifunctional architectural element that combines several parts. It comprises a 59 cm-high Royan baluster, top and bottom rails, and overmantels. All complementary components can be found in the WESER range and are listed in our technical data sheets.
Royan balustrade features
The balustrade fulfils a decorative role when it borders a difference in level of less than one metre. If, on the other hand, it protects a difference in height greater than 1 m, it becomes a guardrail. In this case, it must comply with standards NF P 01-012 and NF P 01-013. Standard NF P 01-012 specifies the height and spacing of balusters, while standard NF P 01-013 defines stress resistance criteria. We carried out static and dynamic tests on our balusters. The GINGER CEBTP laboratory validated these tests in May 2024, and the results are available in report BEB1.N.5028-1.
Installation and durability
