Features and Safety Standards
Depending on its location, the balustrade plays a different role.
- When it borders a height difference of less than 1 meter, it serves a purely decorative function.
- On the other hand, if it protects a height difference of more than 1 metre, it becomes a guardrail and must comply with strict standards.
The regulations impose the following criteria:
- NF P 01-012: height and spacing of balusters
- NF P 01-013: resistance to stress
To guarantee the conformity of our products, we subjected our balusters to static and dynamic tests carried out by the GINGER CEBTP laboratory in May 2024. These tests confirmed their compliance with the requirements of both standards, as specified in report BEB1.N.5028-1.
