CSR letter of intent: The Concrete Industry in Ecological and Social Transition

A CSR LETTER OF INTENT FOR A CONCRETE INDUSTRY FEDERATION COMMITTED TO ECOLOGICAL AND SOCIETAL TRANSITION

WESER is an active member of the FIB’s CSR Commission, whose work is organized into three sub-working groups:

• ❶ Inform / train
• ❷ Industry watch/regulations
• ❸ Getting involved

This dynamic commission has drafted a Letter of Intent for members to formalize the Federation’s commitment. Its aim is to promote our mobilization to work together for the ecological, social and societal transition.

With CSR, our profession wishes to highlight the diversity of its contributions, particularly in terms of regional development, actions in favor of training, inclusion and local employment, health and safety and the circular economy (recycling, recovery, eco-design, industrial ecology)…

In concrete terms, the aim is to draw up an environmental, social and societal commitment charter by 2026, enabling each member of the profession to make a formal commitment to a transition approach.
